GIRL ON THE VERGE |
|
Warm weather is finally here again! Seeing this year's dreary winter come to its conclusion has made me one very happy girl, and it seems that with this nicer weather, I've come to rely on six products in particular which have aided me in the acclimation towards springtime forecasts. Below I've included these six favorited products, along with descriptions from where they can each be purchased. Happy Spring!! 1. Hunter's "Original Tall Rain Boots", $140 These boots are my go-to shoe for this time of year. Perfect for spring showers, these stylish, yet functional boots will have you smitten. 2. Maybelline's "Dream Fresh BB Cream", $9 Seriously the best BB cream I have ever used. This product is very lightweight (perfect for spring!) and super moisturizing. A must-have springtime item! 3. L.L. Bean's "Mountain Classic Anorak" in French Blue, $45 The perfect jacket for spring! Not too warm yet not too thin, this anorak strikes the perfect balance between outdoorsy-chic and practicality. 4. Clinique's "Chubby Stick" in Woppin' Watermelon, $17 For springtime makeup I try to keep it looking fresh and feminine. This colored lip balm by Clinique is the perfect way for me to keep my lips looking moisturized and put together. Definitely worth purchasing! 5. Converse's "Jack Purcell" in Sandshell, $70 For an everyday shoe, may I suggest the Jack Purcell. This shoe is cool, classic, and sporty--a great, lesser-known alternative to Chuck Taylors. Plus how adorable is the baby-blue bottom, am I right! 6. J.Crew's "Tap Short" in floral, $65 Floral bottoms are a must for springtime, and what better way to wear them than this gorgeous blue and green number by J.Crew. Yes please! What are some of your springtime favorites? I'd love to know! Until Next Time!
M. Ever since seeing the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie, I have been dead set on vacationing in Greece (I mean who didn't want to be Lena in that movie, let's be real). It just seems like the ideal vacation spot. The sparkling turquoise water, scrum-diddly-umptious mediterranean fare, beautifully tanned man candy; how could you go wrong? Anyway, since it seems that everyone but me has been vacationing somewhere warm this spring break, I've turned to Pinterest to seek out pictures of my ideal vacation spot, and below are some of my favs. For all those spending your spring break at home, I hope you enjoy these pick-me-up pictures, optimistically reminding us once again that summer is right around the corner. Until Next Time!
M. It's my school's spring break this week, which can only mean one thing...a new spring wardrobe!! A few days ago my family and I hit up Old Navy for some new spring staples, and as per usual, Old Navy didn't disappoint. I'm actually a pretty big fan of Old Navy; I always find cute, affordable pieces that sometimes look twice the amount that they're actually worth (one time I bought a cardigan there and a girl asked me if I had gotten it from Free People!). So I've decided to put together a little spring look-book with my Old Navy purchases and I'll be linking everything that I purchased below. Enjoy and happy spring!!
