Ethel

A few days ago while procrastinating my AP Literature and Composition homework, I had the tremendous pleasure of watching Ethel, a documentary focused around the life of Ethel Kennedy, highlighting her time with her husband Bobby and their 11 children (and in doing so I came that much closer to checking off one of my 101 goals I wish to accomplish in 1001 days. Check it out here!!). Like many Americans, I am enraptured by the Kennedy family. When I was in the eighth grade, my focus was set primarily on Jackie, and I vividly remember wearing MANY pearl bracelets  and earrings that year. I'm talking decked-out.

She was, and still is, a big inspiration.

As I've grown older, though, I've begun to acquire and appreciate more about the other members of the Kennedy family (because after all, there's a lot of them!), and in doing so, I've discovered the immense beauty and strength of Ethel Kennedy. She's outgoing, lively, and always up for a good time, but this film also taught me how incredibly strong-willed she is-- a trait for which I find much admiration.

I'll always be a lover of the elegance of Jackie, but I think I appreciate now more than ever the importance of the positive, magical outlook that Ethel had, and still has, on life.

If you guys haven't seen the film, I'd 100% recommend it!! You'll love every second of it.
Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
Until Next Time!
