Hello all of my Girl on the Verge readers!! Well, it's officially the first of January which means that the holiday season is now over (enter sad face emoji here). I had a super fun, super busy holiday season which started off with me leaving for Door County, Wisconsin with my family (and Goose, our German Short-haired Pointer puppy) as a little mini trip before Christmas. It was nice to take a relaxing vacation up north, especially since there was some snow on the ground in Door County.
We arrived back home on the 22nd of December and the next day my sister, cousin and I all went to our grandmother's house to make my grandma's special pecan crescent cookies (they are #ah-mazing). Christmas was a blast, and my favorite present that I received by far was my iPhone 6. I promise I'm not trying to brag at all, but this new phone is a serious upgrade from my old Samsung Galaxy 2 whose overall quality left something to be desired. I'm most excited to be able to take better photos (specifically on Instagram) for Girl on the Verge, since my new phone's camera is like a million times better than my old phone. Finally, New Years Eve was also a relaxing time spent at home with the family. We watched One Direction on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve (because of course), and had a nice New Years day brunch this afternoon. All in all, a holiday season well spent.
How was your holiday season?
I'd love to hear from you!!
Until Next Time!
